Indexable mills and 90-degree milling cutters for shouldering — SSM-UA, SSM-T and DSM-L systems.

Four systems, one shoulder-milling family.

SSM-UA (2×90°) uses APKT/APHT inserts with 2 effective cutting edges across eight applications — face, slot, peripheral, axial plunging, shoulder, helical plunge, pocket, and helical milling. SSM-T steps up to 3 edges (TOKX) or 4 edges (SDKT/SDHT) for higher precision and lower cost per edge — up to 35% cheaper per edge than APKT10. DSM-L doubles the tool life again with reversible LNKU/LOKU inserts for 4 edges per side.

Chipbreaker grades span HCM (steel), SCM (stainless steel), CCM (cast iron), LMM (aluminium), RCM (specific radius), and XCM (exotic/titanium), in coatings GTCP230, GTPP235, GTPM240, GTCK215, GTWN715, GTC5235, and GTC5240.
