High-feed indexable mills (SSM-HFC) — indexable mills from the UK with feed rates up to 3 mm/tooth.
Galtona's SSM-HFC High Feed Cutting system uses XPLT, XDLT, XDLX, and XOLT inserts with 4 effective cutting edges, covering face milling, angled milling, helical plunging, plunge milling, profile milling, pocket milling, and slot milling.
Feed rates up to 3 mm/tooth with closely pitched tools achieve very high chip removal rates. HyperCoat coating maximises tool life; coolant holes with minimum quantity lubrication design add flexibility, and light cutting geometries reduce machining noise and vibration.
Available in three insert dimensions (IC07, IC10, IC13). Chipbreaker grades: HCM (steel/cast iron) and SCM (stainless steel/titanium), in coatings GTCP230, GTPP235, GTPM240, GTC5235, and GTC5240.

IC10 insert size, shares the same milling body as XDLT.
