Galtonas Grooving-sortiment (Grooving Metric Catalogue) dækker skærsystemer og værktøjsholdere til afskæring, sporstikning og drejeoperationer: dobbeltsidede (GD), enkeltsidede (GO og GS) og aksiale (GA) skær på tværs af 7 spånbrydergeometrier (M1, F1, ST1, T, M, MM, LM) til stål, rustfrit stål, støbejern, eksotiske legeringer og ikke-jernholdige metaller.
Værktøjsholderne spænder over udvendige monoblokholdere (standard og forstærkede, med valgfri indvendig kølevæske), udborestænger til indvendig sporstikning, det modulære Modul GA / Modulholder aksialsporstikningssystem og hærdede afskæringsklinger (GBN/GBR/GBL) med matchende spændeblokke.
Som med resten af Galtonas værktøjsprogram kan specialfremstillede emner, halvfabrikata og færdige produkter udvikles i samarbejde med kunder, hvor standardkatalogværktøjer ikke opfylder specifikke krav.

Spare parts: Clamping screw M6.0×25 (MM22485, no-cooling block), grub screw M6.0×8 (MM11960993) and clamping screw M6.0×12 (MM11776816, cooled block).
How to use the system: (1) insert the mounting key with the handle towards the front into the 2 tool location points; (2) move the key in the direction of the arrows to open the insert seat; (3) position the insert pressing it against the location face; (4) move the key forward to lock the seat and clamp the insert securely. Always maintain tension on the key while changing inserts.
