Serrated Blade Cutters — Fuldstændige specifikationer
No. 600 — Alternate Angle Milling Cutters
HSS, blades staggered at alternate angles, fine-adjustment feature. Diameters 4"–16".
A highly efficient cutter for keyway or slotting operations. The Galtona Serrated Adjustable Cutter Blade is fitted into a forged and heated alloy steel body; blades are staggered at alternate angles. Reinserting each blade one slot ahead moves it out sideways a few thousandths of an inch, permitting the cutter to be resized with minimal grinding.
Made to standard dimensions with forged, selected special High Speed Steel Galtona Cutter Blades. Also available in T.15 Super H.S.S., Super-Cobalt H.S.S., and "Stellite".
Representative sizes — bore/keyway pairing scales with diameter; widths ½"–2" available at every listed diameter from 4" to 16"

Blade No. 65-series used for Right Hand; 66-series for Left Hand. Bores in inches carry the equivalent British Standard keyway; metric bores are made to DIN 138. Prices on request for non-listed sizes above 3½" diameter.
No. 610 — Interlocking Milling Cutters
HSS, two Half Side cutters interlocked for wide slotting/channeling. Diameters 4"–16".
For wide slotting or channeling operations, two Galtona Half Side Milling Cutters are interlocked together. Width is maintained by shimming between cutters or adjusting the serrations of the blade — about ⅛" spread is allowed for adjustment.
Representative sizes — width shown is the combined assembled width; both wider and narrower interlocking pairs are available

No. 620 — Half Side Milling Cutters
HSS, for step or straddle milling, right or left hand. Diameters 4"–16".
For step or straddle milling operations. Blades are all set at effective cutting angles, right or left hand, for facing or cutting into corners — cutting angles designed to suit the material being cut.

No. 630 — Straight Blade Milling Cutters
HSS, general-purpose, blades set straight for both sides of the tooth. Diameters 4"–16".
For general purpose use. Cutter blades set straight allow both sides of the tooth to come into the work at once, neutralising side cutting thrusts — spiral-angle cutters (No. 600) are recommended wherever possible instead.

Shell & Face Mills — Shank, Arbor & Centring Mount
HSS, Nos. 640/640X, 650/650X, 660C/660CX, B650/B650X — light, medium, and heavy-duty mounting styles.
Galtona shell and face mills use the same Serrated Cutter Blade system in four mounting styles, made to suit varying duty — light, medium, or heavy:
- No. 640 / 640X — shank type, for milling small faces, steps, or channels. Standard (640) or heavy-roughing (640X) blade sets.
- No. 650 / 650X — arbor type shell end mills, adaptable to any milling machine or horizontal boring mill via a separate arbor.
- No. 660C / 660CX — centring arbor type; cutter is driven direct by keys in the milling-machine spindle, with the arbor only centring and holding it against the spindle nose — a heavy-duty drive for small face mills.
- B650 / B650X — small face mills built to fit British Standard BS 122-1953 arbors, for shops converting from solid HSS face mills.

No. 900 / 920 — Cemented Carbide Tipped
Alternate Angle (900) and Interlocking (920), cast-iron (G) and light-alloy (M) grades.
For high-production slotting operations. Galtona Serrated Blades of carbon steel are tipped full width with cemented carbide and staggered at alternate angles for a smooth cutting action. The 900-G series is suited to cast iron and can also be used on non-ferrous materials such as brass and bronze; the 900-M series is designed for light alloy. 95-series blades cut both right and left hand.
