Richard Lloyd has a long history in the supply of milling cutters to a vast range of industries.

Whilst many forms requiring milling can now be achieved using standard tooling and CNC technology, there are many applications that still require either bespoke or specialist cutters.

Our products have developed from inserted blade type – utilising High Speed Steel or carbide tipped blades in serrated slots in a steel body – through to the use of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) cutting medium with steel, light alloy  or hybrid bodies.

We manufacture milling cutter inserts to suit a range of cutter bodies manufactured  either in-house or by our competitors. The grade of carbide used will depend on the component material being machined.
